Our Team

Patrick Straky, Owner – Project Manager

Pat Straky is following his passion: building and renovation. A graduate of Michigan State University, he has worked in project and construction management for more than 20 years. Prior to that, Pat worked as an Operations Consultant for Deloitte Consulting, LLP, providing project management and best practices expertise to clients throughout the United States. After managing large consulting projects for years, Pat founded J. Patrick Construction, Inc. and has sold and managed construction projects from large-scale home renovations and additions, to penthouse-level condominium deconstruction and renovation, to new construction.

Amy Straky, Office Manager - Behind the Scenes

Amy Straky is a graduate of Bradley University and has 15+ years of experience at Accenture in finance and finance related project management. She facilitates the ordering and delivery of materials to ensure on time project delivery. She also provides back office coordination with architects, customers, and vendors.

Joe Zezula, Superintendent - In the Field

Joe has worked in the construction industry for more than two decades. He has hands-on experience in all trades. Joe has the ability and experience to identify and resolve complex construction issues before they can slow a project. He is highly focused on the finest of details and is a stickler for quality. From the first day of construction, Joe keeps his eye on the eventual end product.

Subcontractors

Our tradesmen are all experts in their fields, and understand the importance of details to the final product. J. Patrick Construction has worked with most of our tradesmen for years, establishing a seamless working relationship with a shared focus on quality. All our subcontractors have extensive work experience in the high-rise construction and renovation environment.
